Bike hire and door to door pick up – drop off can be arranged for all trips at our reception. Numerous spectacular mountain bike trails are found in and around the Ruapehu region suitable for all levels from family and novice to advanced adventurers.
Ruapehu Mountain Motel & Lodge is situated 1 min from the start of the Old Coach Road and the Ohakune Mountain Road. Other tracks are also only a short bike ride or drive away.

Maungapurua Valley & Bridge to Nowhere
(38kms one way). A spectacular ride through river valleys and native bush to the bridge-to-nowhere and the scenic Wanganui River. Then catch a jet boat ride or canoe down to Pipiriki before catching the shuttle back home.
